Rev. Kathleen "Kat" Cheyney

Pastor Kat is a fully ordained Deacon of the United Methodist Church. She experienced church life early, growing up as a "PK" (Pastor's Kid). 

Following medical school and advanced training, Kat's career in the medical profession led to her becoming a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon, at the George Washington University Hospital. It was during this time that Kat followed her calling to the ministry. She transferred into the ER, allowing her time to complete seminary. 

Since her ordination, Kat has served St. John's of Baltimore City and the Bosley-West Liberty Charge in Sparks, Md. Most recently, she served the Cooperative Parish of Northern Baltimore County.

Pastor Kat is a welcome addition to our church family and looks forward to meeting you.
