Our climate-controlled sanctuary can seat up to 100 people. We can accommodate a small number of wheelchairs at the rear.
The pastor must approve all ceremonies but does not have to conduct them. Ensure your officiant is licensed appropriately.
If you wish to have the pastor officiate your wedding, please contact the office to obtain a copy of their officiant agreement.
There are rates for building use, pastor, pianist/organist, custodian, and audio/video technician. Please contact us for our current rates.
You must have a Baltimore City wedding license. Apply to the Clerk, Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Room 140-142 at the Clarence M. Mitchell Jr. Courthouse, Calvert and Fayette Streets. The phone number is 410-333-3780. A license is good for 6 months. There is a waiting period. Blood tests are not necessary.
You are free to use an aisle runner if desired so long as it is properly secured. We recommend linen aisle runners when possible.
Flowers can be delivered directly to the church, but please coordinate with us to ensure someone is available for receipt.
Decorations are welcome, however, we ask that if pews are decorated that no tape, nails, or tacks be used, to prevent damage. Clips and ties are acceptable.
Our music director has the right of "first refusal", or the right to provide music for your ceremony, unless they choose to waive that right. Should you wish to make alternate musical arrangments, these must be approved by the music director.
Guests with limited mobility can enter via the ramp entrance to our social hall at the rear of the building. An elevator is located to the left of the ramp entrance once inside.
As a United Methodist congregation, it is contrary to our church life to permit alcoholic beverages on the grounds. All buildings are smoke-free.
All usage is governed by our facility use contract, obtained through our office.
Our climate-controlled social hall has a maximum capacity of 150 persons. However, we only have 50 folding chairs, in white plastic. You are welcome to supplement with your own. We have 6 round tables and 6 banquet-style tables in white plastic on hand. We can accommodate a variety of seating arrangements based on your venue.
There are three restrooms located in the space, one being separate and wheelchair accessible.

Our kitchen is not commercially licensed and therefore unavailable for food preparation by non-church functions. No food may be prepared on premises for consumption by non-church functions (except for hot coffee and tea). However, you are welcome to provide catered meals to your guests. Please coordinate with us to ensure someone is available to open the building for catering personnel.
Decorations are welcome, but no nails or tacks may be used to place them on the walls. Tape may be used as long as it is removed before leaving the premises or a custodial fee of $25 will be assessed.
Upon exiting the premises, ensure that all trash has been collected and bagged. It can be placed in the cans outside, unless full. Your trash is your responsibility; no bagged trash may be left beside or protrude from our cans. Please help us prevent pests and provide our neighbors with the cleanliness and respect they are entitled to.
If you will be providing music for your event, please be aware that we are located within a residential neighborhood in close proximity to area residents. Event organizers shall assume all liability for any criminal violations and their repercussions.
All facility usage must be scheduled with our office for placement on our calendar. Please obtain written confirmation from us that your event is scheduled or we reserve the right to release your preferred timeslot for use by another event.
